Rick's wife Cate has been a cat lover since she was a child. She has retired from practicing Massage Therapy for 25 years. Cate has enjoyed fostering and volunteering with a local cat rescue for many years. Cate and Rick live with their Catahoula hound mix dog and 5 rescued cats.

My Journey
My adventure with animals began in the 1990s, marking the start of an enduring journey of love, care, and companionship with dogs and cats. This passion for animals took me through various walks of life, including an enriching period of service in the U.S. Coast Guard followed by a rewarding 38-year career with the postal service. Throughout these years, my dedication to animals remained unwavering, as evidenced by my long-term volunteer work at the Warwick Animal Shelter. My time there not only solidified my love for animals but also equipped me with invaluable experience in handling and caring for them in various states of need.
The Dream Becomes Reality
Upon retirement, I sought a pursuit that would not only be fulfilling and rewarding but also fun and filled with unconditional love. Thus, in 2021, Take Me Out Pets was born. This venture is more than a business; it is a manifestation of my lifelong dream to work closely with animals, providing them with the love, care, and attention they so richly deserve.
