We're a family-owned business right here in Warwick, and we treat your pets like our own. We are fully insured and trained in pet CPR because their safety is our main concern. Whether they have fur, feathers, or scales, we provide the expert care they need right in the comfort of their own home.

We handle just about everything your pet might need. This includes daily dog walking, in-home pet sitting, puppy drop-ins, and overnight stays. We also help with the extras, like giving medication, driving them to vet appointments, or taking them out for a nature hike or a swim.
Absolutely. Take Me Out Pets is fully bonded and insured for your peace of mind. Our team is trained in pet CPR and first aid, and our founder, Rick Salk, brings decades of experience from his work at the Warwick Animal Shelter. Your pets are in very experienced hands.
Our pricing is straightforward and based on the length of the visit. It's $20 for a 15-minute drop-in, $25 for 20 minutes, $30 for 30 minutes, and $35 for 45 minutes. A 12-hour overnight stay is $65. If you have more than one pet, it's an extra $5 each, and we add a $3 travel fee for locations 7 miles or more from Warwick.
We definitely do. Whether they have fur, feathers, or scales, we are happy to help. We look after birds, fish, reptiles, and small mammals too. Our team has its specialties—Cate is our resident cat expert, while Rick mainly handles our canine clients.
Yes. We know pets do best when their routine stays the same, so we follow your specific instructions for feeding and exercise to the letter. We are also experienced in giving medications and can help reinforce any training you're currently working on during our visits.
We are based in Warwick and spend a lot of time in the Conimicut area. We also regularly visit clients in West Warwick, Cranston, East Greenwich, and other nearby Rhode Island communities.
We make sure to keep you in the loop. We'll send you photos and updates during our visits so you can see for yourself that your pet is happy and well-cared for. We want you to feel completely confident that they're getting the same love you'd give them yourself.
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel, we just ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a fee.
We want you to feel completely comfortable and confident leaving your pets in our care.
